On April 12th our Firm, COSTA BLANCA Lawyers & Translators, had the pleasure to organise the « 1st conference about Taxes for residents and non-residents in Spain ».
The conference, which was free and open to all audiences, was held in the International Library of Gran Alacant. First of all, we explained the main features of the Annual Tax Return (IRPF) that must be filed by all the residents in Spain. It was explained who must submit this Tax form, current allowances for tax payers and rates of application depending on the income. Finally we pointed out that the deadline for submitting the information corresponding to 2018 is the 1 of July 2019.
After that, we moved on to the non-resident taxes. With examples, we explained how are these taxes calculated and the different types depending on whether you rent out your property not.
The conference was held in two languages, English and French, so that the participants could understand clearly, explained in their mother tongue, the Spanish Tax system. In the end, we replied to the questions of the participants.
We are very grateful to all the people attending the conference. If you were unable to come, and you are based in the Alicante region, please do not hesitate to contact us for further details about Tax in Spain. We will be delighted to help you.
